I've said it to others--I think I'll wait until I'm 70 to start learning knitting and stuff, like my mom did. I'll have more time on my hands then. :)

I can't wait to see your finished projects!

Love,
Christineheritagemomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17704236577862086830noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7542921008329379756.post-56267642145092292122011-01-28T14:13:03.701-08:002011-01-28T14:13:03.701-08:00Mary,

However, as I am not very good with teaching myself new skills, I haven't started this endeavor yet. Sigh!

I'd really like to make myself some long skirts and some aprons. Maybe one day I will. Only time will tell.

Keep us posted on your progress with your new projects. :)

-Lady RoseAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7542921008329379756.post-81316716025537011362011-01-28T12:04:51.386-08:002011-01-28T12:04:51.386-08:00Thanks for sharing these, Mary! Some of the steps I'd want to see up closer...but I think if I just gave it a try, it would make sense how it works. Very cool!

The skirt is pretty, too, and I want to make some napkins, as well. Christine uses cloth napkins...she keeps stacks and stacks of them in a rectangular basket in her kitchen. When she has guests, she just sets out the basket, and you take what you want. They're different patterns, but all coordinating color-wise. I want to use patterned fabrics, so there's no hesitancy to wipe a spaghetti-sauce-face with them, LOL!

Thank you for sharing this...it's a dreaming-sort of day, isn't it?

Blessings and {{{HUGGS}}}, my friend!Illinois Lorihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04823043316393624821noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7542921008329379756.post-72891266394078831212011-01-28T11:50:34.540-08:002011-01-28T11:50:34.540-08:00Every single one is just delightful!
